Lighthouse, formerly OTA Insight, a market intelligence platform for travel and hospitality, announced the acquisition Thursday of Belgium-based Stardekk, a provider of hospitality channel management and distribution software. Financial terms of the acquisitions are not being disclosed.
Lighthouse said the merger will create a unified technology platform, combining its data and artificial intelligence with Stardekk's distribution reach to help hoteliers optimize their channel management.
"We are delighted to welcome Stardekk to our team," Lighthouse CEO Sean Fitzpatrick said. "Their innovative solutions and team complement our mission to reimagine commercial strategy for the hospitality industry. Together, we will deliver unmatched value to independent hoteliers through the combination of better data, better automation and dynamic distribution.”

The move could particularly benefit independent hotels by providing advanced distribution tools and pricing insights to drive more revenue growth at properties that often lack the data and budgets to compete with larger chains.
“Our ideal customer profile for this solution is independent hoteliers who are time starved and overwhelmed managing disparate systems and data,” Fitzpatrick said.
Founded in 2001,
Stardekk provides systems for channel management, booking and property
management to more than 3,000 customers in 55 countries, including hotels, bed-and-breakfasts
and short-term rentals.
“Joining forces with Lighthouse marks a significant milestone in our journey,” said Vincent Goemaere, founder and CEO of Stardekk.
“We've always been dedicated to empowering hoteliers with easy to use, powerful tools. This merger not only aligns with our vision but expands our joint capabilities, offering immense value to independent hoteliers who need to stay competitive in rapidly changing markets by driving revenue and profitability. The potential we can unlock together is incredibly exciting.”
This is the third acquisition for Lighthouse since its $80 million Series B funding in 2021. In 2022 it acquired vacation rental business intelligence brand Transparent in March followed by hotel revenue intelligence platform Kriya RevGen in April.
