Klook, Traveloka, Trip.com, Changi Travel
Services and GlobalTix have been named as the online booking partners for the Singapore
Tourism Board’s S$320 million recovery program.
Known as SingapoRediscovers, the programs
gives every Singapore citizen age 18 and above S$100 (about $75 USD) worth of
vouchers that can be spent on more than 200 hotels, attractions and tours that
are participating in the program.
All bookings must be done through one of the five
authorized booking partners.

According to the Singapore Tourism
Board: “The Vouchers serve as a domestic stimulator
by encouraging locals to explore and rediscover Singapore, while supporting
local tourism businesses. We hope the Vouchers will have a multiplier effect on
spending at F&B and retail merchants when locals use them to explore Singapore’s
diverse offerings.”
Some booking partners are creating special
packages exclusively available for voucher redemption, including Klook and
Resorts World Sentosa, and some are offering additional rebates and discounts.
Voucher redemption will take place from
December 1 through June 30, 2021. Recipients can also purchase up to six subsidized
tickets for family members under 18.
