Singapore-based low-cost
flight platform Atlas has released its next-generation Air Travel Retailing and
Information Platform (ATRIP), which it says bypasses legacy systems to bring on
a new age of data-led decision-making to travel.
Founder Mary Li’s vision
is to enable more people to travel worldwide.
“Only through travel do we see the world as others do. The world would be a
more accepting and understanding place if everyone had the opportunity to
travel,” she says.
The first phase of Atlas,
launched in 2019, was to aggregate low-cost carrier content on a global level.
Its platform now includes access to over 160 low-cost carriers and deeper
travel booking insights from ATRIP’s Flight Deck – a new portal to facilitate
API development, fare comparisons, bookings management and real-time data and
analytics.

Unconstrained by legacy
systems, Li says Atlas has leveraged cloud architecture, API simplicity,
artificial intelligence and machine learning to bring data-led decision-making
to travel via ATRIP.
ATRIP aggregates and
processes vital data and insights so travel businesses can make more personalized
and informed decisions for their travelers - faster and more affordably. Built
for speed and reliability, Li says ATRIP’s technical capacity offers a seamless
transaction experience, regardless of volume. It can support up to 5,000
queries per second, taking less than 0.5 seconds to respond, per search query.
To date, the solution has
supported over 370 million searches per day. By optimizing airline performance,
Atlas has delivered an increase of up to 300% in targeted airline bookings and
sales uplifts of up to 97% for its travel seller customers.
“Everything we do is data-led,”
says Li.
