Accommodation search startup Cozycozy has raised €4 million in funding.
Funding for the Paris-based company has come from Daphni and CapDecisif et Raise, which specialize in early-stage and growth investments, as well as angel investors.
Cozycozy has been founded by Pierre Bonelli who previously founded flight metasearch Liligo.
Liligo was picked up by French rail operator SNCF in 2010, before being acquired by eDreams Odigeo in 2013.
The idea behind Cozycozy is to provide a search engine for all types of accommodation including hotels, vacation rentals and even home exchange, in one click.

The startup, which has been in development for the past two years, says it wants to provide the widest ranage of accommodation in the world enabling consumers to compare and filter according to their needs.
Listings including Airbnb, Booking.com, Hotels.com as well as local French sites such as Gîtes de France.
According to a statement, the site integrates more than 10 million accommodatoin units and prices quoted on the site are final prices including all charges.

The site is currently aimed at French travelers. The company points to research from 2017 revealing that 18.5 million French people booked holidays online.
Pierre-Yves Meerschman, partner at DAPHNI, says the fund was attracted by Cozycozy’s innovative user-friendly approach.
