Dubai-based Lokalee, an artificial intelligence-powered B2B hotel and holiday home content platform, has raised $5.6 million ahead of its Series A funding round.
Samir Abi Frem, CEO of Lokalee, said the software as a service company is pleased with investor confidence levels in Lokalee, which he said validates the platform’s potential across the hospitality industry.

“With this new source of funding, we are determined to accelerate our ambitious expansion to optimize the digitization of the guest journey for our customers,” Frem said.
The added capital came from multiple firms, led by Crown Private Fund. Three additional strategic investors with experience in the hotel and technology industries were also involved but their names were not disclosed.
Lokalee aims to help hotels and holiday homes improve guest interactions, increase potential revenue flow and simplify operations. The white label platform is customizable and offers guests the chance to browse and book “everything a property and the destination has to offer.” Booking items are sourced by lokal curators with support from global partners.
The funding will help to push Lokalee’s expansion into European markets and also bolster product development. Currently, Lokalee is used by more than 200 brands in 20 countries around the globe including household names such as Hilton and Sheraton.
