LoungeUp, a guest relationship platform for hotels, has acquired Dmbook Pro, with terms of the deal not disclosed.
Dmbook Pro is a virtual hotel assistant which tracks operations within a property.
According to a statement, Ireland-based Dmbook Pro has a client base of about 200 properties in Europe.
The DmBook Pro team joins LoungeUp with the acquiring company hoping to benefit from their experience in hotel management.
Mathieu Pollet, CEO and co-founder at LoungeUp, says: “The integration of Dmbook Pro’s technology allows us to offer our hotel clients the potential to track each guest request from beginning to end. Any room-service order, spa treatment reservation, or online checkin initiated by guests through the LoungeUp solutions, is then processed by the Dmbook Pro solution.
"This ensures the request is properly followed up internally by the hotel staff. For the manager of an establishment, it’s the best way of ensuring that the guest experience is of the highest standard throughout.”
Bruno Lanvin, co-founder of Dmbook Pro adds the company has worked with LoungeUp in the past to integrate the technology.
“This move seemed to us to be the natural next step in Dmbook Pro’s development to a more comprehensive and better connected solution," he adds.
