OYO Vacation Homes plans to recruit 1,000 employees in Europe in the next six months.
The vacation rental arm came into being following OYO’s acquisition of @Leisure for €360 million in May this year.
OYO says the plan is to recruit across all key destinations in Europe with particular focus on business development roles, data scientists and revenue improvement specialists.
The move follows the India-based company’s decision to commit €300 million to expanding the vacation arm in Europe.

Tobias Wann, CEO for OYO Vacation Homes, says: "We currently have over 800 employees and with another 1,000 talents joining us by 2020, we will move a step closer to become the largest full-service vacation rentals business globally.
"We will also continue to invest on other fronts, such as building top-notch technology solutions and offering property investments and services to homeowners, in order to grow our existing footprint in the market.”
Back in February, OYO announced a financial commitment of $360 million to launch in the U.S. and a month later the company announced a $200 million investment to expand its presence in India.
Last year the company earmarked £40 million for its U.K. launch and $100 million for Indonesia.
In May, Wann spoke to PhocusWire about how the @Leisure-OYO deal came about.
