A series of spiky (angry, even) tweets and comments during conferences over the years - that's been the mainstay of one critic of Google's role in travel.
Bobby Healy, ex-chief technology officer at CarTrawler and now CEO and founder of drone delivery service Manna, is not alone in his concerns about the search giant.
But he's been one of the more vocal opponents at a senior level in the industry of Google.
The argument is concentrated on its ability to service its own products ahead of those that pay it provide advertising services... all from a dominant, "monopolistic" position in the travel search and inspiration funnel.
Rather than pick up piecemeal elements of the debate from social media, PhocusWire invited Healy to outline his position in an interview during Phocuswright Europe 2019 in Amsterdam.
The clip is here.
