The automotive industry is (finally) fully behind the idea of autonomous vehicles entering the market.
Just this week, French giant Renault released details of its AEX: Augmented Editorial Experience project, bringing personalization and more to cars.
For some in the travel industry, there is not much of a leap from the world of private autonomous cars to mass-market vehicles that will, in their words, transform the sector.
The tours and activities sector could be one of the main beneficiaries of such developments, as previously outlined on PhocusWire here.
Still, much of the leaping required is conceptual at this stage.
