Amadeus is expanding its business in North America with three new partner
agreements for its Amadeus Travel Platform.
New York-based Fareportal, which owns consumer brands CheapOair
and One Travel, is expanding its work with the Spanish travel technology company
by now accessing NDC-enabled content through the Amadeus Travel Platform, which
includes content from more than 20 airlines.
Florida-based HotePlanner, a global provider of individual,
group and corporate travel reservations services, will also use the Amadeus
Travel Platform – in this case to access hotel content and broaden its overall
hospitality offering.
And Simplenight, a travel retailer also based in Florida with
a supplier network including tours and activities, air, ground transportation
and accommodations, is the third new customer for the Amadeus Travel Platform.
At The Phocuswright Conference, continuing today in Phoenix,
Amadeus executive vice president for air distribution and global online, Sam
Abdou, stops by the PhocusWire studio to explain Amadeus’ platform strategies
and where the company sees opportunities for future innovation.
