The new traveler experience is not all about technology, although it plays a part in how people want to travel, stay and enjoy or work in a destination.
COVID-19 put many requirements and restrictions on the process of moving from A to B, as well as how consumers might be able to move around an attraction or use the facilities in the accommodation.
Many of those elements may well remain long into the future, some will disappear.
And some travelers will be choosing different ways they want to combine leisure and business trips, perhaps even opting for more "nomad"-type existences as they juggle the reality of working away from offices.
Reseach shared by Phocuswright during the recent PhocusWire Pulse: A New Travel Experience event shines a light on what are some of the new requirements coming from travelers as the industry comes to terms with both a recovery phase and tech-led future.
