Global commerce platform WEX saw its revenue grow 28% year-over-year
in the third quarter this year to $616 million, with the biggest increase
coming from its travel business, which was up 25%.
The company has seen increased interest in and adoption of digital
solutions, primarily skewed toward consumer-facing tech.
WEX’s vice president of corporate payments for the Americas,
Heather Andrews, says now is the time for travel companies to prioritize B2B
digitization, to create systems that can accommodate consumers’ expectations
for simple, seamless experiences.
In an interview in the PhocusWire studio at The Phocuswright
Conference, Andrews how automation and simplification, fueled by modern digital
tools, can improve brand loyalty and drive revenue.
