Weeva is a pioneering software-as-a-service platform
designed to democratize access to cutting-edge sustainability management tools
for the travel/tourism industry. The platform helps travel businesses of all
sizes access best-practice, science-based and data-driven sustainability
solutions.
Inspired by fitness tracking tools, Weeva set out to create a platform that
would not only enable businesses to quantify their positive and negative
impacts on the world around them but also drive lasting behavioral change
across their organizations.

Strategic goals for 2024
Over the coming year, we will be laser-focused on making it easier than
ever for travel businesses of all sizes to start and succeed on their
sustainability journeys. This includes improving the platform’s existing
tracking and reporting capabilities and implementing exciting new features that
leverage machine learning and generative AI.
We also have our eye on continued international growth for 2024. We
already have properties using Weeva across all continents–apart from
Antarctica–and we are continuing to look for new ways to make the platform as
accessible and relevant as possible for users around the world. This includes
translating the platform into additional languages.
Lessons learned since founding
Weeva was founded with a vision to create a more sustainable, resilient
future for the travel and tourism industry. Over our first year, we’ve learned
an incredible amount from our community of users about the barriers they face
in implementing sustainability practices–and what it will take to overcome them
and accelerate progress.
One of the biggest lessons is that there is a huge appetite from people
across every corner of the travel industry to improve their sustainability
practices – but many simply don’t know where to start. A lot of the existing
sustainability guides and tools are full of jargon that requires specialist
knowledge to understand.
That is one of the reasons we are excited to roll out our new conversational
and generative AI capabilities, which will help walk users through the journey
of becoming more sustainable using language that’s accessible to everyone and
help users draft narrative to support regular sustainable storytelling.
