EaseMyTrip, an
India-based online travel agency, has invested about $4 million in ETrav Tech, giving it a 4.94% stake in the
company and boosting its effort to grow its non-air segments.
ETrav Tech is a B2B company serving travel agents with
content such as air tickets, hotel bookings, holiday packages, visa services,
travel insurance, car rentals and bus tickets. The company said it currently
serves more than 30,000 travel agents, 600 distributors and 700 clients that
use its API or white label services.
Founded in 2008, EaseMyTrip offers air tickets, hotels and
holiday packages, rail and bus tickets, and ancillary value-added services. The
company said this investment will help to diversify its portfolio and enhance
its offerings for corporate clients.
EaseMyTrip is one India’s largest platforms for air ticket
bookings, providing content from more than 400 international and domestic
airlines.

In August 2023, EaseMyTrip
acquired a majority stake in three India-based travel companies – Guideline
Travels Holidays, TripShope Travel Technologies and Dook Travels. Prior to
that, it had acquired a controlling
stake in hotel booking app CheQin and B2B hotels
platform Traviate.
EaseMyTrip has offices across India and in Southeast Asia,
New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.
