Tokyo-based hotel solution provider Tripla has acquired Singapore-based
Endurance Technology Solutions, which includes the brand Pelican Hotel
Solutions.
Specific financial terms of the acquisition have not been
disclosed, but Tripla said it will invest approximately 70 million yen, about
$475,000, to buy out all existing Endurance shareholders and will then make it
a subsidiary of Tripla.
Founded in 2017, Endurance Technology Solutions operates in more
than 150 hotels, primarily in Southeast Asia and also in the Middle East.
Tripla said the acquisition marks its “ambitious venture into
the Thai and Vietnamese markets,” which are both seeing a “surge in tourism
demand.” Tripla provides a hotel booking engine, channel manager, loyalty
software, corporate booking tools, marketing automation, an artificial
intelligence chatbot and more to nearly 7,000 hotels.
