Consumers got burnt during the pandemic having to go through an onerous process to get information and with travel companies slow to handle refunds.
But it was an unprecedented challenge and many travel companies are only now beginning to see light.
Now it’s time to build back consumer confidence in the industry and that will come through building trust.
Many currently see trust in payments as one of he most important elements for the industry’s recovery.
Will Plummer, CEO at Trust My Travel, has described payments as a “dirty word in travel” and during the PhocusWire Pulse event, he discusses the challenges as well as the opportunity to shake things up.
He also talks about the safeguards need to ensure travel payments are secure, particularly in light of online fraud.
