Clubhouse is one of the buzziest new platforms on the web - at least according to its influential backers and celebrity users.
The audio-only meeting and discussion app has only been in the market since March 2020 but has since ignited speculation ranging from it being a podcast-killer to the future of customer engagement and marketing.
The reality is perhaps currently somewhere in the middle, with it having the ability to bring like-minded people together and create content that is valuable to those tuning in and those running the "virtual rooms."
How both travelers and travel brands get to grips with a new channel for communication is still in its infancy - but bloggers and influencers, alongside companies that want engage with customers, are claiming enormous value from the discussions that take place there.
Renata Tilkian, account director at Sparkloft Media, and Evita Robinson, CEO at Nomadness Travel Tribe, are two such advocates for Clubhouse.
They joined us as part of PhocusWire Pulse: A New Age For Social Media last week, in conversation with PhocusWire's Kevin May.
