Managing flight delays is costly and disruptive for travel management companies and businesses.

Lumo’s product (which is also aimed at airports and other service providers) works out when air services are likely to be affected and manages the process for travelers accordingly.

Organizations as diverse as NASA and JetBlue Technology Ventures like the company and have backed it.

Goals for 2019

In addition to strengthening its relationships with customers in North America and Europe, Lumo will expand its footprint globally, especially in Asia. The company also hopes to drive adoption of its flagship product, Lumo Navigator, a dashboard from which travel managers, meeting and events planners and travel disruption desks can view and manage flight disruptions.

Additionally, it will be releasing several airline-facing products in development that help airlines build better schedules and manage delays proactively.
